Still Places is an independent ambient studio, run by Linkout B.V., Emmalaan 25, 1075 AT Amsterdam, the Netherlands. You can reach us at hello@stillplaces.studio.

By default, nothing. There are no accounts, no newsletters, no tracking cookies and no advertising on this site.

Like every website, our hosting provider processes standard server logs (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. These logs are not used to profile you.

Your privacy preference is stored on your own device (in your browser's local storage), so we remember your choice. It never leaves your device.

Analytics on this site are opt-in. If you choose “Allow analytics”, we may use anonymous, privacy-friendly statistics to understand which ambiences are watched. No advertising, no profiling, no third-party cookies.

If you choose “No thanks”, nothing changes — the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time via cookie settings in the footer of every page.

Videos are embedded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set cookies before you press play. When you do press play, your browser connects to YouTube and their privacy policy applies.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its use. Since we collect almost nothing, this mostly means: email us and we will help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Some works are created with the help of AI tools, under our direction and curation. That does not change their protection: copyright and related rights apply in full, and the works remain the exclusive property of Still Places / Linkout B.V.

Without our written permission, it is not allowed to:

• copy, download, re-upload or redistribute our videos, images or audio;
• use them in your own videos, compilations, apps or streams;
• scrape them or use them to train machine-learning models;
• remove or alter copyright notices or watermarks.

We actively monitor for unauthorised copies and file takedown requests with platforms such as YouTube when our work is republished without permission. If you would like to license our work, or if you believe your use is permitted, please contact hello@stillplaces.studio.
