Storm collection

Rain and thunder sounds.

A storm at a safe distance is one of the nicest sounds there is. The rain does the steady work — a soft, even wash that fills the room — and every now and then a low rumble of thunder rolls through, far enough away to feel cozy rather than loud.

That is exactly how we mix it. In our storm scenes the thunder stays distant and rare: a gentle reminder of weather outside, never a crack that would wake you. Shelter, rain, the sea — and a storm that knows its place.

Questions

Are rain and thunder sounds good for sleep?
For many people, yes — as long as the thunder stays soft. A distant rumble adds depth to the rain without startling you. Our storm scenes keep thunder rare and low, so nothing sudden pulls you out of sleep.
How is this different from plain rain sounds?
Plain rain is perfectly even, which some people prefer. Rain with distant thunder adds a slow, irregular layer on top — a little more atmosphere, a little more sense of weather. If you find pure rain too flat, this is the version to try.
Will the thunder wake me up?
Not the way we mix it. The thunder in our scenes is distant and low — a rumble, never a crack. Keep the volume low and it sits quietly under the rain.
Can I use rain and thunder sounds for focus or studying?
Yes. The steady rain covers distracting sounds, and the occasional rumble gives the soundscape a natural, living feel — with no lyrics or melody to follow.
